eccleston syd brook spotted fly !

Great to see a Spotted flycatcher on my local patch :D , possible juv flycatching and constantly being harassed by a robin , ive had a number of autumn sightings on my local patch over the years .

Some great sightings yesterday ( manchester birding sight ) , fem hen harrier , 2 blavck redstarts , twite , whinchat and many more .

2 cormorant were perched on the dead tree yesterday evening , its the first time ive seen this species on the lake , there is obvious fish in the lake but still not seen any grebes on this water :? :? .

Around 10 snipe , heard lapwing in the fading light , 5 pinkfoot looked to land but moved on , hen pheasant with several well grown young , chiffchaff calling , 1 possible white wagtail , 1 barn owl hunting late on , 20 meadow pipit with 2 skylark , 1 buzzard , the highlight of the night was the mal...

Several small skeins of pinkfoot , 1 raven is a regular on the plyons , unidentified wader flew through heading towards the marshes ,.

Croston finney / moss , 30+ snipe , juv ringed plover , 30+ mallard , pale looking buzzard and kestrel . Bretherton , eyes lane busy with dog walkers , back lane spotted a little owl in flight following my car and eventually landed on a post ten foot away giving great views :D , e shaped ponds barn ...

A few wader species this evening after the rain , 17 snipe , 7 lapwing ,4 curlew , 1 greenshank , 1 green sandpier , 3 white wagtail , 2 buzzard , 3 kestrel , 1 sparrowhawk , 1 peregrine , 9 teal on a pool , 30 + swallow .
