Cheked the area near to the dead forest , 1 sparrowhawk , 7 snipe , several meadow pipit , 20+ reed bunting , several chaffinch , 3 carrion crow , 1 hare .

Over 300 fieldfare in one flock this afternoon also gs pecker , sparrowhawk , several tree sparrow , 4 whooper swan .

No sign this morning , lots of berries left , nuthatches , blackbird , mistle thrush , goldfinches , and goldcrest present .

Several hundred fieldfare passing through at a good height , several tree sparrow regular seen and grey wagtail .

The pair of stonechat were near to the Alma wood , i walked along the great close track and it was very quiet .

Whooper swans were the main highlight this morning with flocks 17 , 15 , 10 , 37 and 4 seen , 1000+ pinkfoot in the area , meadow lane flood held lots of lapwing and bh gulls also a good count of 6 redshank and 2 golden plover , a pair of stonechat was good to to see , 16 snipe flushed , smallnumber...

Little owl reported yesterday from a farm in eccleston , also 5 buzzard plenty of redwing with a few fieldfare , 1 snipe seen in flight disturbed by muck spreading all over the village yesterday .
