Several small skeins of pinkfoot , 1 raven is a regular on the plyons , unidentified wader flew through heading towards the marshes ,.

Early morning visit in the drizzle , 1 lapwing , 3 curlew , 7 snipe , 10 grey partridge ( 2 coveys 5 , 5 ) , 10 alba wagtail with small numbers of meadow pipit , 2 cormorant , 1 goosander , 50 linnet , 1 sparrowhawk , 1 kestrel , 1 buzzard , several chiffchaff , .

Out and about .

Croston finney / moss , 30+ snipe , juv ringed plover , 30+ mallard , pale looking buzzard and kestrel . Bretherton , eyes lane busy with dog walkers , back lane spotted a little owl in flight following my car and eventually landed on a post ten foot away giving great views :D , e shaped ponds barn ...

A few wader species this evening after the rain , 17 snipe , 7 lapwing ,4 curlew , 1 greenshank , 1 green sandpier , 3 white wagtail , 2 buzzard , 3 kestrel , 1 sparrowhawk , 1 peregrine , 9 teal on a pool , 30 + swallow .

2 greenshank on the alma wood pools , 1 wheatear , kestrel , buzzard , 10 mallard , 1 teal , plenty of house martins , linnet flock , 4 grey partridge .
Eyes lane , the flock of pinkfoot were still on the stubble , 2 snipe , kestrel .

Marsh harrier seen twice this morning ( 9.30am/1030am ) near to the douglas , 5 greenshank on the large pool between alma wood and the railway , 3 green sandpiper and 10 snipe next to the great close field , 100 lapwing along meadow lane , 3 buzzard , 3 kestrel , 1 heron , 2 teal .

Large tit flock blue , great , coal and l t tits , nuthatch , chaffinch and goldfinch also a seperate flock of around 30 goldfinch .
