I know, that was the best view I got, it flew off when I got closer, no clear view of the rump so it could have been a female Pied Wagtail.

Birds seen/heard - 2 singing Chiffchaff, 2 Dunnock, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Robin, Blackbird, 6 Shelduck, ~40 Black-headed Gulls, 6+ Lapwing, Skylark heard and 1 Little Egret. Nice shot Ian,

Still 2 Sand Martins late morning, with 8 Linnet and a Chiffchaff next to twin lakes and a possible female White Wagtail.

There were still some (30+) Golden Plover on the Great Close field late morning (18.03.24), but very difficult to see and count. Also 5 Cormorant on the wires near the pumping station south of Great Hanging Bridge.
