Paul, I went mid morning where I saw a Greenshank, a Graey Heron, 1 Linnet 10 to 20 Meadow Pipit on the area of reservoir bed now exposed including what I thought was a Yellow Wagtail, but which turned out to be a yellowish light buff leucistic Meadow Pipit. After examining my photos from yesterday I noted 1 adult and 1 juvenile Spotted Flycatcher in Lead Mines Clough in a flock of 7 birds which Included at least 1 Willow Warbler.

Great Knowley - Silver Y moth yesterday and Painted Lady Butterfly today.

Coppull - Sparrowhawk at height soaring over Springfield Road and a Holly Blue Butterfly in Kimberly Street.
