Goosander on the Yarrow this morning, now down to 4 young. Single Curlew on Tinklers fields every day for over a week. Also 2 Hares, not seen any down there for a while.

Kingfisher, 2 Buzzard and a Raven. 2 Shelduck came over a couple times then landed in a ploughed field. Peregrine over Towngate, Eccleston at just after 1-30pm. As I came up from the church bridge it came over from my left, Hilton Hall Farm, then went off to my right, almost following Tinklers Lane.

First Swallows for me this year, 4 of them along north side of Yarrow between Eccleston and Croston this morning, also 100 Starlings. No sign of any Sand Martins.
