Re: Tree Sparrows

I've been seeing up to four tree sparrows in the garden all winter and they have bred locally as two adult birds were in the garden the other day with two youngsters.

Re: Terrapin from last year.

Thanks Peter. It's probably the same beast as I am led to believe that Bridge 67 is in the Cowling area.

One of them quite vocal mid-afternoon - sounded like it was in Tan House Valley woods at the bottom of my garden

Searching for insects round the garden pond this morning.
First in the garden for a few years but unfortunately 5 days too late to go on the garden survey sheet.

Re: Great Knowley to Briers Brow via public footpath network

Len,
Strange that you say there are plenty of signs of rabbits in Tan House Valley - I've not seen one in the garden all winter which is most unusual.

Re: Great Knowley sightings

I live even nearer to Len than Paul and I had 5 yesterday (3m & 2f). I've also had 5 before but (2m & 3f) so there are at least 6 within the area.
