Good Year for Parakeets

Must have been a good breeding year for the Parakeets around the Lower Burgh Meadows area, I've recently seen flock of at least 13 birds together.

Mandarin With Young

Very nice to see a female Mandarin with 11(think I) young this morning while out running. On the river between Birk. and Duxbury wood.

Never seen them with ducklings before.... A very nice start to the day 😊

I had 5 over the oaks/cedars week before last, great to see then sticking around, also had a single bird while running past the sea view, whittle-le-woods earlier in the year.

Sorry for the late post but yesterday while walking around the Anglezarke reservoir the GWE flew from the Lower anglezarke area to the top near Watermans cottage end at approx. 2:45pm and flew back off in the same direction at 3:30pm great close views in flight, and a Chorley Tick :)
