Had a cracking female LTD @ Fairhaven Lake today ,showed well down to 20mets, has been around for a few days worth a tick on the year list !

Just had a Presumed Ring Necked Parkeet over Paragon Busniness park,calling and being chased by a LBB,flying off in direction of Reebok.

RSPB Marshside Sunday 15th May
On a very cool and windy sunday we only had a few hours round Mashside,very productive cracking close up views of Curlew Sandpiper & Little Stint,loads of gorgeous Dunlin,plus the usuals, cool and windy but well pleased.

Could only manage a couple of hours at the moss today,but very productive. Both male and female marsh Harriers, Great white Egret,male Gargany,Med Gull plus all the usual suspects.

Waxwings
While out on a bike ride tonight,had a flock of 100+ Waxwings roosting,the location was between the roundabout bottom of moor road going left up the by-pass just before Oakwood View in the tall trees on the left,not jittery or spooky at all just sat high up chillin,Cracking!!

Ring-Necked Duck,Bispham
Had a trip out to a small lake in Bispham to see the Ring-Necked Duck today, it was showing well but distant,as always at the other end of the lake where there was no access, it was hanging around with a female pochard. Still another life tick and a cracking bird.

Me and my lad and birding buddy lee,had a few hours at the moss,1st hide Bittern,2nd hide American Green Winged Teal and Lee was the 1st to ID it and report it,scarce bird for the Moss,3rd hide 5/6 magnificent Red deer stags all with full sets of antlers,4th hide Bittern again,not bad for a rainy Su...

had a cracking day out with my lad and birding buddy Lee. As we arrived at the reserve it was -11 only but the hardy few had ventured out. We were greeted by a flock of Waxwings flying over,soon to be followed by our 1st adult & Juv Bewicks of the year. Good start,got better Ron Barker hide was ...
