Friday morning, Coppull Moor Lane 08-05-20, two second summer and two adult summer Mediterranean gulls all in immaculate plumage following the plough.

Two Red Legged Partridge on edge of horse paddock, Green Lane assume released birds from local farm/stables ??

HicBibi 30,08,18 Spotted Flycatcher.

Lovely views of a Juvenile Spotted Flycatcher in the company of a Juvenile Common Whitethroat both making successful attempts at catching flying insects. Also good numbers of Swallows 25+perched on wire fences and many more inflight.

Adult male Hobby at 1425 this afternoon flew over the reserve rough direction from Worthington area towards Preston Road.

Also three Ravens over and two Willow Tit calling about the reserve.

Common sandpiper on top end of big lodge though flighty, gave nice views at times.

Burgh Meadow, 2 reeling Grasshopper Warbler, 7 Common Swift and several House Martin overhead.

Curlew 2 pairs, Lapwings seen to be minimum of 4 pairs around, 21 Whimbrel gave lovely flight views and calling a lot of the time seen in lovely evening light!
